“Center for Genetic Analysis and Technologies” (CGAT) operated under License No A-332 of the Ministry of Science and Technology and by Decision No 996/QĐ-LHH of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, herein after referred to as the "Center."

A "Customer" is defined as an individual with full legal capacity, not under legal supervision, and fully aware of their request for testing.

“DNA Testing Registration Form” is issued by CGAT and available on CGAT official website www.cgat.vn and www.phantichadn.vn.

"Online DNA Testing" is a service for customers who wish to DNA testing for personal purposes (self-knowledge) and cannot visit the Center in person. Customers must follow the instructions carefully and correctly.

"Check DNA test results online" is a form of returning results, to help customers access results more quickly and conveniently.

The Center commits to keeping customers' personal information confidential. Test results are only provided to the requestor or an authorized person as indicated on the request form. The Center does NOT disclose, disseminate, exchange/ share DNA test results or customers’ personal information with any third parties in any form, except when required by competent authorities.

In case the customer wants to check the results online, the customer needs to register and set a password when filling out the test request form. After receiving all the samples, the Center will call the customer to notify the "Customer code", "results return appointment" and confirm the password the customer has set. The customer needs to remember the information provided by the Center to be able to "Check DNA test results online".

Online DNA test results are only available as a black-and-white copy or a single-line conclusion. The original result is kept at the Center’s office or sent via EMS to the address provided in the request form.

The original DNA test results are stored for 12 months. To collect the original results, the person who submitted the request form (the applicant) or an authorized person must visit the Center’s office with a valid ID (National ID card, passport, etc.).

The "Online DNA Test Result" will only be uploaded at the scheduled time indicated on the Receipt & Appointment Slip (for customers tested at the Center) or according to the schedule confirmed via email/phone by the Center (for customers using the Online DNA Testing service). The results remain accessible for 48 HOURS from the scheduled time. After 48 hours, the system will automatically delete the results.

Customers can attempt to retrieve their Online DNA Test Result no more than twice (if a third attempt is made, the system will automatically deny access).

Passwords will not be reissued under any circumstances. If a password is forgotten, the applicant or an authorized person must visit the Center’s office with a valid ID (National ID card, passport, etc.) to receive the original results.

The Center commits to maintaining customer confidentiality and conducting DNA testing objectively based on the provided samples by customers.

The Center takes full responsibility for the issued test results.

The Center is not responsible for situations where:

• The customer unintentionally or deliberately discloses personal information (customer ID, registered password, etc.) to third parties who then access the test results.
• A third party coerces the customer into accessing the results or retrieves them on behalf of the customer.
• Network failures, access errors, computer system failures, or software errors occur due to hacking or sabotage.

Customers are fully responsible for the authenticity of the samples they provide.

Customers agree not to file complaints if test results are compromised due to unforeseen circumstances, such as network failures, access errors, system failures, or hacking attacks.

Customers must read and accept the above Policies & Terms before proceeding with a DNA test request.
